As 2014 comes to a wrap, it`s time to reminisce on the top films of the year. This film year was filled with adventure, comedy and love but one recurring them was nostalgia. It was a blast from the past this year when our old childhood toys were back up on the big screen. Aside from the classics, sci-fi and teenage romance were really popular this year, including heartbreaking love stories for the Millennial generation. The top ten films of 2014 includes, Boyhood, Birdman, Guardians of the Galaxy, The LEGO Movie, Veronica Mars, X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Fault in Our Stars, St. Vincent, Nightcrawler and Veronica Mars. It was an exciting year in the film industry and who knows what 2015 will hold.

This past Friday on August 22nd, one of country music’s finest, Brad Paisley played at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey on his Country Nation Tour. Not only did Brad put on an amazing show but Charlie Worsham, Leah Turner and Randy Houser opened the tour with some of their amazing hit songs!
After Randy Houser’s outstanding performance, Brad Paisley walked on the stage and had the crowd going wild as he opened his performance with “Moonshine in the Trunk” from his new album. Not only did Brad keep everyone singing along but kept everyone laughing too! Brad was very laid back and had the audience cracking up while making jokes and just being him self. While showing off his amazing skills in playing guitar, Brad took a marker, signed his guitar and gave it away to a little girl in the front row who cheered Brad on the whole show! As girls in the crowd admired him, he had no problem taking their phones and snapping a few “selfies” during the middle of the show with them.
As he closed his show with his hit songs “Mud on Tires” and “River Bank” the audience was still in aw on how astonishing the concert was.
Brad isn’t just an all time amazing country artist but truly an amazing human being as well.

Fathers Day is a time to honor the men in our life who have watched over, taken care of, and have made us who we are today. The bond between a child and father is priceless. This Fathers Day lets honor the men who have been by our side as we have grown. No matter if it is your father, grandfather, uncle, or brother, make sure your appreciation is known and show them how much they matter to you.
Fathers Day is not only a time to recognize the men in our life, but to recognize the mothers who have also had to take on the role as a father figure for their children. In the United States, 80.6% of single parents are mothers. Mothers must provide the emotional support and nurturing of both the mother and father in the household.
27% of single mothers live below the poverty line and lack the financial resources to support their children, as compared to having a male figure present.
Make sure that this Fathers Day you consider and thank all the men or women in your life that have helped you down the road while insuring a stable bond. Having this bond has been essential to your mental and human growth as an individual.
This Sunday, June 15th show you care and wish your loved ones a Happy Father Day!
